Presentation: “Wildflowers Along the White Pine
Trail,” by Dr. Ralph Crew, a well known local ophthalmologist While bike riding along the White Pine
Trail in Osceola and Mecosta Counties, Dr. Crew began to notice a diversity of
flora along the path. He then began to photograph the wildflowers and identify
them. Not knowing what to do with the thousands of photographs he had, he
developed a Michigan wildflower identification website (www.wildflowersofthewhitepine.com).
Join us as Dr. Crew shares his experiences with bicycle, camera and nature,
along the White Pine Trail.
